It was Valentine’s Day 2008. Michelle had recently moved back to Roanoke after realizing that she didn’t really know what she wanted to be when she grew up. Rather than sit at home on Valentine’s Day, she picked up a dinner shift at her then job.
It was starting to get late. The dinner crowd was winding down. That’s when she realized the ‘new’ guy was finishing up his training dinner. She couldn’t help but notice that he was paying more attention to her than his food.
Over several months, they became inseparable. Michelle was beginning to break out of her shell. Kyle was able to get her to go on her first hike, try coffee, consume spicy food, and listen to different music.
From music festivals and road trips, baseball games and the beach, family get-togethers and growing up, Kyle became her person. Her best friend.
I can honestly say when we first met Kyle + Michelle we knew INSTANTLY that we clicked. It’s truly inspiring to work with couples that are so down to earth + value photography as much as we do. We love their quirky personalities + we were so honored to capture their gorgeous September wedding at Diamond V Farm!
We absolutely love photographing at Diamond V Farm! This was our second time at the venue + we can’t wait to go back for future weddings!!
Seriously, how gorgeous is this ceremony location!
Whiskey barrels, personalized signs, and ferns steal our hearts every time!
How gorgeous are these table-scapes? Wood slices, roes, hydrangeas, burlap + lace are a STUNNING combinations on tables!
This dessert set-up screams rustic-chic!
EEP! We love when our brides go over and above with their wedding decorations!
Looking for the perfect wedding favors for your guests? Why not cover two things at once! Personalized glasses that they can use throughout the wedding night + further nights to come!
If you know me, you know that I absolutely LOVE capturing the wedding details! We loved seeing all the new + exciting things Diamond V Farm had to offer and this arch was PERFECT for the wedding dress shot!

Diamond V Farm offers brides TONS of different views, but I have to say seeing the Blue Ridge Mountains is my favorite!!

Michelle + Kyle might say their awkward at posing, but I’d say otherwise! They NAILED their portrait time!

Look at that LOVE Kyle + Michelle radiate!!
Why not sneak in some bridal portraits? We even a few horses as surprise visitors!
